FAQs
Do I need to be an experienced exerciser?
Nahhhh. I've worked with people of all skill levels. So whether the heaviest thing you've lifted recently is a 100 lb kettlebell or a 1 lb Roku remote... I've got you covered!
How are you different from a regular trainer at a gym?
I actually spend time getting to know you instead of shoveling humdrum workouts your way. This starts with our initial meeting and I continuously reevaluate throughout our sessions to make sure you are enjoying what you are doing and noticing results.
Do you come to my house?
Depends on what's for dinner.
Kidding. My home base is Exall Park near downtown Dallas. I can come to you but additional travel charges may apply for locations greater than 5 miles away. For your safety and the safety of all my clients, I am sticking primarily to outdoor training sessions. COVID...amirite?
What about weather?
Bundle up...
For real though... what about like... BAD weather?
If it is unsafe for us to meet outdoors we can reschedule the session.
What equipment do I need?
Just an exercise mat and yourself! I bring some of my own equipment that I sanitize thoroughly after each session. Should you want to purchase your own I am happy to make suggestions!
Do you do small group/big group/buddy workouts?
Sure! Prices vary based on what you are looking for but holler at me if you've got a wild crew who wants to go all out. We can work something out.
What if I need to reschedule/cancel a session?
A 24-hour notice is required to reschedule or cancel your session.
Are you DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS?!
(Translation: What COVID-19 precautions are you taking?)
My #1 priority is to keep you safe. Peep this list:
We work outdoors and spaced out.
All my clients must bring their own mats (If you do not have one I am happy to make suggestions within a range of prices).
Most of the workouts will be done with bodyweight, resistance bands, medicine balls, cones, and speed ladders. Anything you touch will be properly sanitized before going back into the bag.
Face coverings should be worn unless they are restricting your breathing.
Spray hand sanitizer and wipes are always in my bag.
